You Need To Get Some Twitter Influence!

Twitter has emerged as a supreme tool for boosting your list size while directing very targeted traffic. I have listed the 3 best affiliate marketing strategies of all time for Twitter!

1.  Build up your Influence

This is more than successfully selling! Be a person who provides useful and valuable information to your followers. People will simply tune you out in no time if you are constantly "pitching" them your affiliate links. Prove yourself someone they can trust and they will buy from you every time! All you need to do is engage your followers by sending out interesting and relevant content they will get something from. Create conversations with them, answer their questions and really provide value. Also try and become an authority or expert on your business or subject. You can simply start a blog and send them there or just point them in the right direction for information they may want. Once you have established your professionalism and trustworthiness, buying from you will not even be an issue.

2. Promote Relevant Products

If you can’t or wouldn’t use the product, why would you try to sell it? If you business is built on trust, you shouldn’t risk it for a quick buck. For example there’s no point promoting an e-book about building a dog house if your followers are all keen golfers and the content you send out is all golf related. If you do this, you will lose legitimacy in the eyes of people you have established yourself as a niche expert. By avoiding this, your list will grow but your pocket book will too.

3. Promote Products You Trust

Always promote products you are familiar with or believe in. It isn’t worth your reputation to promote a product you know is not of the highest quality. Chances are if it excites you then it will excite others, and you’re also helping your reputation and your customers. If you are working hard to establish yourself as a professional, then you don’t want to harm your reputation or your list. Your Twitter Influence will grow as you are building your reputation through good business practices. People deserve the best, so make sure to give them your best effort!

Affiliate marketing on Twitter really is easy if you follow a few simple rules. Keep in mind to always be focused on the needs of your list, and you will do great! Maintaining a successful list is easy as long as you follow the Golden Rule. Remember, you are building a business that YOU deserve as well, so build it well.

Ping.fm, possibly the social marketing piece missing from you puzzle

No, I know what you are thinking. Ping.fm is not an online classic oldies radio station or a late night table tennis talk show. It is one of the most reliable and conventient tools you can now use to keep your social marketin symphony in tune.

Ping.fm is a website that, once you have created an account and added the social account of your choosing, will send out comments, music and links to every microblog and membership site to which you are a patron. Many internet marketers use it to blast out there affiliate links and updates to their eager audiences and can even send a favorite song to your blogs and social sites, just for that fun, personal touch.

As if that isn’t enough, Ping also has a porable version which will probably end up eclipsing Twitter at some point. But, nobody knows that yet so keep it under your hat for now. The portable version allows you to conduct your micro blogging, etc., from the comfort and convenience of your cell phone/PDA. Since that service would include Twitter, then you can see the justification for my afore mentioned statement.

The function of Ping that harkens back to the days of podcasting is the recordable audio message service which is pinged out with your post, provided by Seesmic. This feature allows you to personalize your message and send it out to your entire sphere of influence in just as long as it takes you to record the message.

You can even simply write an email and send it to a specified ping email account and your message will be automatically posted through your Ping network. This feature all by itself allows you to auto post to your network do to the email feature most apps have which allows the presetting of emails for later publication.

Facebook: Social Marketing’s Mt. Everest!

Facebook has exploded in the past year and it is, at least in part, due to the technologically oriented society that the world has become. With global communication no farther than most people’s fingertips, communication is the easiest it has ever been. Since people are people and tend to move around to the far flung corners of Earth, regardless of how important staying in touch with people important to them is.

Given that internet access now has virtually no limits due to satellite access through companies like HughesNet and others, anyone, anywhere can log onto Facebook and find their loved ones and friends just right through their screen.

Now any astute business person can see the possibilities in this. Given that Facebook allows you to create and join special groups that share your interests, you have a veritable schmorgashboard of clients, customers and associates that are easily locatable.

As social marketers start to take advantage of this easy avenue for marketing you can expect that a higher level of restriction and control will have to happen and will eventually limit the potential, at least to a degree, but is another Facebook looming on the horizon. Waiting for it’s chance to storm the scene and capture it’s millions of viewers and users. Ready to be the next untapped resource for internet marketers, affiliate marketers and social marketers around the world.

Will Twitter Displace Google And Facebook?

Everyone has heard of Twitter, it’s true. The first time I heard of Twitter was when an American was arrested in South America somewhere, and he used it to alert his cohorts who otherwise would have had no idea what had happened to him. After reading the story on the AP wire, I investigated it and started my own Twitter account, IMGavinKing, of course.

Every since then I have personally watched as Twitter has exploded onto the social marketing scene and outpaced even Facebook for popularity. It is even projected that is will pass Facebook in the next few years with the advent of tie in sites and software like Twollow and others there are an endless number of possibilities.

Given that any and every exploding niche develops para-markets around it as far related services and goods, Twitter will continue to push and stretch the internet marketing arena like no other site has yet.
