Is article marketing an effective strategy? It will. Using nothing more than article marketing, I’ve created more than 1000 leads over the last 60 days online. I’ve only actually been doing any online promotional strategies for the last couple of months. Sometimes I see people online who are frustrated with article marketing, and I think that it’s because they don’t understand the basic mechanics of search engine placements. My goal here is simple. I want you to have some immediate ideas that will help you make more money, faster with your article marketing efforts.
The number one thing you want to do is create useful and relevant information for your readers. What do I mean? Well, you want to provide valuable, useful information to people that specifically can help them solve their problems. For example, if someone was looking for ‘how to sponsor MLM distributors’, you wouldn’t want your article ranking in Google for that phrase if it had nothing at all to do with the concept. You want to speak directly to the core issues of your readers as much as possible. You’ll rank better in the search engines from creating useful information than anything else you could do.
Second, you want your offer in the resource box to be specifically targeted towards your reader. What I mean is, don’t have an article about ‘How to Make Pea Soup’ and then have a resource box that says ‘Mr. Awesome makes 10 billion dollars a year teaching people how to be rich online…’ Does that make sense? All you’ve got to do is tweak your marketing message to be related to your specific audience for that piece of work.
Third, if you want an article to stay ranked in the search engines you need A LOT of backlinks. Simply put, you need a whole lot of other sites linking to your specific page. It’s wrong to assume that an article will rank high just because it is original and useful. You want to at a minimum use OnlyWire to create social bookmarkers to all of your articles the moment after they are published. That simple little trick will immediately boost your traffic and it only takes 2 minutes to complete.
The last idea I have for you is that you need to create A LOT of original content. Most marketers that I meet simply don’t ever create enough useful information to make a difference for any of their websites. How many articles should you create? As many as you have time to complete. Every single day I create one article personally, and that has been enough for me over time.
My final thought for you is to be optimistic! After getting down some basic concepts on article marketing, making money on the internet was one of the easiest things I have ever done. Keep your eyes out for more useful tips! (After all, I do write one new article per day.)

Is article marketing an effective strategy? It will. Over the last couple of months I have created close to 1000 leads from this strategy alone. The irony is that I’ve only actually been marketing online at all for two months. Sometimes I see people online who are frustrated with article marketing, and I think that it’s because they don’t understand the basic mechanics of search engine placements. My goal here is simple. I want you to have some immediate ideas that will help you make more money, faster with your article marketing efforts.
The first thing I’d like to talk about is how important it is that your information is relevant and useful. What do I mean? Simply put, you need to be a useful resource for helping people solve their most important problems with your articles. Sometimes you see an article that says it’s about one thing, but the information isn’t helpful at all. That’s a BAD idea if you want to build a stable, long term business. You want to speak directly to the core issues of your readers as much as possible. Being useful and related with your concepts will help you rank in the search engines more than any other factor.
Second, you want your offer in the resource box to be specifically targeted towards your reader. What I mean is, don’t have an article about ‘How to Make Pea Soup’ and then have a resource box that says ‘Mr. Awesome makes 10 billion dollars a year teaching people how to be rich online…’ Does that help? Simply make your marketing message as focused on the issue as you can.
The third thing that you need to do is create a lot of incoming one way links to your article if you want it to rank in Google and stay on the front page. When I say a LOT I mean A LOT. It’s wrong to assume that an article will rank high just because it is original and useful. You should bookmark your articles on Digg at the minimum, and I prefer to use a popular social bookmarking service called ‘OnlyWire’. That simple little trick will immediately boost your traffic and it only takes 2 minutes to complete.
Fourth, write A LOT of articles. Most marketers that I meet simply don’t ever create enough useful information to make a difference for any of their websites. How many articles should you write? As many as you possibly can. I make sure that personally I create one new article every single day.
Be encouraged my friends! After getting down some basic concepts on article marketing, making money on the internet was one of the easiest things I have ever done. Keep your eyes out for more useful tips! More are on the way soon!
